The bag is beautifully crafted, with soft leather and a lovely texture – overall, a very appealing design. However, I ultimately decided against purchasing it due to a functional issue: on my version, the metal part of the shoulder strap frequently caught on the magnetic closures of the bag. I was concerned that, over time, this could damage the leather at those points.
On a positive note, customer service informed me that they plan to revert to using non-magnetic shoulder straps in the future – a step in the right direction. However, I also found the alternative leather strap problematic: in my opinion, it’s not well-suited for us petites (people under 165 cm), as when shortened to wear the bag crossbody, one end of the strap sticks out awkwardly beyond the edge of the bag.
Another important point for me was the customer service experience. In my original review, I criticised the lack of response to my return request. It turned out that my emails had initially ended up in the customer service team’s spam folder. Once the issue was identified, the team responded with great commitment and maintained excellent and prompt communication. I'm confident that the spam folder will be monitored more closely going forward.
Conclusion:
STOW strikes me as a young company with a strong sense of design and quality – both of which I find extraordinary and forward-thinking. There are still a few areas for improvement, but the company clearly shows a willingness to learn and grow. I’ll be watching their development with interest and can definitely imagine ordering again in the future.
