Travel Talk with Friends of STOW: Patrick Cox

STOW chats with Friend of STOW Patrick Cox, the Canadian-British fashion designer who made his name in the 1990’s with his famous Wannabe loafer. He’s now back with a new collection: Lathbridge.

To where would you most like to stowaway?

I’ve kinda stowed-away to Ibiza!

Who would you take with you?

My two English Bulldogs, Caesar and Brutus, have come along for the ride.

One essential piece of kit you cannot travel without, and why?

Im going to have to say the usual iPhone, iPad and Kindle- I’m a bit of a news junkie!

I’m constantly reading and following the news. I’m so not a techy guy but when you travel constantly its great to have book/Kindle to read on the plane or train to zone out. I’m a big history buff.

What is your favourite STOW piece, and why?

The World Class Tech Case cause it gets all my stuff in one chic convenient place.

Luxury or practicality – which one are you?

Both! Why need to choose?

Best piece of travel attire to stay stylish when on the move?

I’m quite into Kaftans!

How do you stay stylish when travelling?

Planning! Pack well.

Best piece of fashion advice you’ve received?

Don’t lose your name.

Who is your travel hero/heroine and why?

Airline crew- you’re in their hands for hours. A little smile doesn’t go amiss.

Which luxury item can you not travel without?

An antique leather photo case with pics of my dogs in it. I always put it next to my bed in hotel rooms when I’m away from them.
