Travel Talk with Friends of STOW: Jenny Zarins

STOW speaks to Jenny Zarins, renowned photographer whose inspiration comes from her native Sweden, family and friends. She was chosen to shoot the royal charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook.

To where would you most like to stowaway?

Take me back to the Namib Desert. I just returned from the most incredible horse trek there with www.namibiahorsesafari.com

Who would you take with you?

All my horse loving friends & for those who aren’t please come anyway and join us at camp at night

One essential piece of kit you cannot travel without, and why?

A camera. I simply don’t function too well without one, especially when travelling.

What is your favourite STOW piece, and why?

The World Class Tech Case – Love it! Whether travelling or not wonder how I ever lived without

What would you keep in your stowaway envelope?

Few extra rolls of film.

Luxury or practicality – which one are you?

Practicality every time.

Best piece of travel attire to stay stylish when on the move?

Don’t like to leave home without my Robe de Voyage Scarf (+ keeps me warm on cold flights)

How do you stay stylish when travelling?

Not sure I do (!) Always a fan of a good scarf though (see above) Bits of jewellery great friends too.

Best piece of fashion advice you’ve received?

Can’t recall I have – I say wear things You love and feel comfortable in.

Who is your travel hero/heroine and why?

My friend Puma, we travelled together when young. Best times, mad times, always adventure, always believes the best in people and makes friends wherever she goes. Never a dull moment.

Which luxury item can you not travel without?

Does my toothbrush count? Essential oils always a treat – got some incredible Sage Oil from Amorgos/Greece which I’m holding on to the last drop.
