Creating Scarcity in a Commoditised Market- London Press Event
A morning in London exploring how true value is created through craft, intention and meaningful differentiation, co-hosted by Tanner Leatherstein and Robin Mellery-Pratt, Co-founder of Matter.
At the heart of the conversation was a shared recognition that there is simply too much being made. At STOW, we believe that answer lies in making fewer things, better. We have chosen to return to the foundational roots of luxury, where products are expertly crafted with materials that endure and produced in considered quantities, whilst honouring artisans and customers.
Our self-imposed limit of crafting 5,000 bags a year is not a scarcity tactic. Instead, it is the natural result of doing things properly.
"I want quality stuff, at a fair price, made in a place where we can answer all the questions."- Tanner Leatherstein
"We're proud of having a model we believe in, that we feel really embodies a new way of doing things, and it's not purely profit driven."- Adam, Managing Director at STOW.
